GP THE NETHERLANDS – Zandvoort

This year 2021 is a significant year for the Dutch Grand Prix, as it returns to the Formula 1 calendar after 36 years of absence. The Zandvoort Circuit is located on the outskirts of Amsterdam, surrounded by sand dunes. It was the scene of numerous races before being forced to close for security reasons and due to lack of funds to improve the circuit by the organizers. The track finally began to be rebuilt in 1989 and, over the years, it was expanded to 4.3 km with new facilities including a new pit building and new grandstands. Thanks to the support of the Dutch driver Max Verstappen, the circuit is ready to once again host fans from all over the world in 2021.

The new Circuit Zandvoort has fewer fast corners than the original, but it promises to continue to challenge the drivers, especially when it comes to overtaking. The Tarzan Grandstand is an excellent place if you want to see how the drivers cope around Tight Turn 1 (Tarzanbocht) and their attempts to overtake on the finish line. However, if you want to join the hordes of fans to cheer on your favorite team, the Arena area is your best option. It was designed to offer the best of experiences, and apart from that, it allows you to see cars decelerate abruptly into Turn 11 and then shoot out into Turn 12. The Eastside Grandstand and Arena Grandstand seats promise the best views.
