It has been made official that it will be the 2019 season in which the KymiRing circuit debuts as the venue for the northernmost GP for at least the next five seasons. Finland is established as a hub for all Northern European fans in a country with a long riding tradition, for this reason the three categories of the World Championship will travel to the icy Finnish lands, during the MotoGP summer tour.
Located in Iitti, 150 kilometers from Helsinki, KymiRing will have a 4.7 km long main route, varied and highly complex. In addition, its facilities will enable 4 × 4, rallycross, karting, motocross, enduro, speedway and dirt track circuits.
