Valencia is an absolutely enchanting city and should be high on the hit list of European metropolises.
CULTURE AND LIFESTYLE
Valencia is more practical, modern, and livable than it is dreamy, stylish, and historical. Sure, Valencia has a bullfighting ring in the center of the city, some beautiful old buildings and squares, and lots of tapas bars, but its streets don't have the same level of charm and character as other Spanish cities. Valencia is a relaxed city, the people are hospitable and friendly, there is always a lot to do in the city. Most activities are outside and people spend little time indoors.
A Football attraction
One of the most popular spectator sports in Valencia is football. Valencia CF and Levante UD are the two main professional football clubs in the city. Other sport attractions is the GrandPrix Formula One at the Valencia Street Circuit.
Though probably most famous for its ultra-modern City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia is a treasure trove for lovers of old and new architecture. It has remains of both its Roman foundations and its Moorish history to explore.
